This rack server provides space for eight hard drives and ensures high transfer speeds for demanding network operations. The short-depth design simplifies installation in smaller wall-mounted cabinets and makes cable management easier. The system uses a quad-core processor with hardware encryption support. Users benefit from advanced features for managing virtual machines and containers directly in the QTS operating system interface. A free PCIe Gen3 ×8 slot offers space for installing expansion cards, such as 10Gb/s or 25Gb/s network adapters. Hard drives can be changed on the fly thanks to Hot-swap technology support.

High performance with an AMD Ryzen processor
The quad-core AMD Ryzen Embedded V1500B processor with a frequency of 2.2GHz ensures smooth operation even with demanding system tasks. The basic 4GB of RAM can be expanded to up to 64GB of DDR4 if needed. The device supports ECC memory modules, which prevent data corruption and increase the stability of the entire system. AES-NI hardware encryption protects stored data from unauthorised access without affecting transfer speeds.
Fast network connection
Two integrated 2.5Gb/s Ethernet ports speed up data transfer on the local network compared to a standard gigabit connection. By linking both ports using the Port Trunking function, it is possible to achieve even higher throughput. This gives users faster access to large multimedia files and databases.
Efficient SSD cache
Two built-in M.2 PCIe Gen3 slots enable the installation of fast NVMe SSDs, which act as a cache. This configuration significantly speeds up random read and write operations during demanding tasks. Qtier technology automatically moves frequently used files to faster storage media. An optional Google Edge TPU module also accelerates face and object recognition in photo management applications.
Comprehensive backup
The Hybrid Backup Sync application includes tools for backing up, restoring, and synchronising data to remote storage or cloud services. The system generates block-level snapshots that record the state of the storage at a specific time and protect files from ransomware. It makes it easy to restore previous versions of documents in case of accidental deletion or corruption. For backing up VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines, it uses the licence-free Hyper Data Protector tool.
Virtualisation and containers
Virtualization Station lets you run multiple Windows or Linux operating systems as separate virtual machines. Container Station, in turn, supports lightweight virtualisation technologies. Network administrators can flexibly allocate physical resources to individual applications, optimising hardware utilisation.
