I don't recommend it. Any straight heater or heating fan with the same wattage will heat/dry better. It can be used under the table on the legs or to sit max 0,5m or on the ceiling above the head or on the desk (maybe - I haven't tried it yet). I certainly wouldn't buy it for half the price.
