we use it for our adopted neurotic dog before stressful events, before very stressful events in the allowed increased dose (2 berries): bathing, clipping, painful veterinary surgery (recently painful removal of a splinter from the paw). do not expect a lightning miraculous transformation from a frightened dog into a calm laughing dog, but the preparation helps a lot, from our point of view it is a miracle. nothing else has worked so well for us. we are grateful for any help - even for partial calming down.
