Temperatures went down a lot and so did the noise level. There is nothing complicated about it, you just need to find out very well where the height of the thermal pad comes, because the passive is usually profiled differently in height, depending on where it sits, and in the end even half a millimetre is known, with a millimetre there is already a gap. And be careful not to mess with it under warranty, but it's certainly not a bad thing to do every 2-3 years after the warranty ends.

Ease of finishing, simplicity
I needed 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm and 2.5, Artic only has 0.5 to 1.5 here, so I had to stack it in two layers, but it still works perfectly.
One side is harder to peel, but it holds more after gluing, so you have to think about it, otherwise you get more angry with it than you need to.
