I do not recommend it, it is very difficult to put on at first, soon it starts to wobble and stops working properly (e.g. the monitor starts flickering).
I've had the adapter for about 2 years. After 2 years, one usb port on my Macbook M1 Pro 2020 has blown. The usb port has stopped responding only to charging, otherwise data transfer works and charging is loaded after reboot or in safe mode, however, once I disconnect the cable, the next connection to charge is no longer recognized by the macbook. I've been reading reviews of additional USB devices for macbooks, and apparently I'm not the first person this has happened to. For a long time, I have been investigating whether the malfunction could be of software origin. I've tried everything from resetting the SMC, to reinstalling the software. Nothing helped. In general, I recommend buying established brands like Belkin or Anker. This adapter is a nice toy, except it may blow up the USB Port on your Macbook, so watch out for it and buy a product from an established manufacturer.
