I have intel LGA1700, which according to the manual and intel mounting kit in the package should not be a problem. I've built dozens of PC's in my lifetime, but this is probably the worst cooler I've ever handled. Once you install the intel reducer and secure it with 4 spikes, the problem lies in the cooler mounting itself. When one metal elbow is hooked, you can't put the other one in. I exerted a reasonable amount of force during the installation, but I still had 2 - 3 mm left before the second elbow could be inserted. The force was so great that I started to bend the first zebra on the cooler itself. If I add more power, I will irreversibly destroy the CPU or the motherboard. So I took the combinations and I had to carefully bend the metal on which the other elbow is attached to reduce it by the required 2-3 mm. But after invasive installation of the cooler everything is OK, it is quiet and works much better than intel stock cooler. But I'll knock off 3 stars for the fact that this product is not suitable for the intel platform, without having to bend the sheet metal and risk destroying the cooler.
