The light switches to power saving mode when it's low, which is fine, but it happens about 30 minutes before it finally goes out and there's not much chance to notice. Nowhere is there an indicator that the light is running in power saving mode, so you would have to stop every now and then and check the blinking pattern to see if the battery is running low. In addition, the braking sensor is quite sensitive and reacts to larger bumps in the road. As a result, the light quite often indicates that you are braking by switching to maximum intensity. That's fine in principle, but it probably shortens the endurance considerably. The braking alarm can't be turned off, and it also works in power saving mode when the battery is running low, which doesn't help the whole thing. The battery life on a full charge was around 3h even in flashing mode with the lowest consumption. For rides up to 2-3h if you charge it before each ride, it is probably ok, but for regular use and daylight it is not suitable.
