My doctor convinced me that after 40, a blood pressure monitor should be part of the household. And since I already have a Garmin watch and scale, this one made sense. I like to have my data in one place, without the need for complicated storage. Here you just put it on, measure it and the data is saved via wifi. A member of the household should be able to tell, but unlike the scale, I have not tested it here. But I'm all about value for money with things, and if I didn't already have another Garmin device, I'd probably buy something else. The decision here was about 20% discount and the fact that I want to work within the Garmin system. Without that, the higher price is a waste, anyway a pressure gauge will measure it for a third of the price. And you don't use it as a scale that often.

The cuff is total rubbish, unlike other pressure gauges it cannot be tightened with one hand. Thanks to some kind of leather intermediate pieces.
The lower pressure differs from other pressure gauges (OMRON), it is about 10% higher. I don' t know if it' s Garmin' s fault, but I' ve tried several Omrons and they measure very similarly.
The transfer to the mobile phone is quite long (again compared to Omrons, where it takes a few seconds).
