If you do not really require a touch display, then the Garmin Instinct 2x watch is a great choice.
Even if the watch does not have as many sports functions and many other conveniences compared to the Epix, Fenix and Tactix models, they are great competitors.
Incredible battery life, durability and G-Spock-like appearance.
Price/performance ratio
Great battery life
Built-in flashlight with the ability to change the intensity of the light
Two lighting colors - white (possibility of changing the intensity) and green (no change of intensity)
Less physical activity

Light on the hands
The battery lasts up to a month under active use. Charging via solar panel really does take forever
Precise GPS
It took me a day or two to get used to the button controls, but it is very intuitive
Display perfectly legible even in sunlight
The battery glows unexpectedly a lot
Czech localization
NFC payments
Appearance
Clear UI
The Applied Ballistics tool is only functional after paying for a license ($300 for the full version, $100 for the light version)
If you have your device set to Czech, the app puts voice notifications in your headphones when the voice reads Czech text with English pronunciation, which annoys me a bit 😄
You can't make calls through your watch
You don't put maps in this model

A gift for my son's 18th birthday. He's absolutely thrilled with the watch. It has many useful functions and a long battery life. The watch is quite prominent on the wrist, yet it doesn't look obtrusive at all. For me, the important thing is that he liked the gift and it met expectations.
