The developers didn't put too much work here, it was more of a money grind, which they managed to do.
Nostalgia
The individual games contain various bugs, for example, driving on the sidewalks you can jump in flight across the map, or you can fall through a bridge somewhere.
Graphically, the games haven't really gone anywhere either
