The camera is technically great, but the user interface spoils the whole impression. If you want to shoot fast - to edit - you run into errors, delays and instability. For a device for 13,000 CZK I expect smooth operation, not basting with the application.
Cut and track the rider (Deep Track): The app worked surprisingly well, the tracking was accurate and intuitive.
Image quality: When it worked, the output was crisp and professional.
Transfer to phone: Downloading videos from the camera went smoothly, proxy previews were snappy.
Unstable video compression: Some videos were compressed without problems, others were not - even though they were the same length (e.g. 3s) and in the same setting. Unpredictable behaviour.
Pushing the cloud: Apps keep trying to steer you to their paid cloud solution when you don't need it.
The app sometimes freezes: Especially when exporting, even if they are short videos.

People are supposed to enjoy themselves and this news is perfect for that. You get packed in a neat box, the camera with a flashlight charged to 60%, cable, cloth and packaging. As you've made yourself happy, so you look forward to it, you turn on the camera, select the language (it doesn't speak Czech) and suddenly boom, slap from the left - activate in the app. Well, you get to installing the Insta360 app for Android and boom, toy flushed down the drain - 1Gb to download. It took an hour to pull and install. But hooray, full of a new will to live, you launch the app, connect to the camera and. Another hammer blow from the right - a new firmware version has been detected and it won't let you go on without an update. 300Mb and another 30 minutes down the drain. Firmware is installed, camera connects, lots of features, but something doesn't add up. When you want to take a photo via the app, you see on your phone screen a dog that left 5 minutes ago! And in the meantime, you'll get disconnected three times. Unusable for controlling and taking photos, I close the app and take the camera. The touchscreen is beautifully responsive and smooth, and the camera offers many features even special ones for the sport you're capturing. Single lens mode is a real pleasure. The ease of replacing the slides is a great thing, it just sticks out and eventually it will get damaged. The desktop application works great, I didn't find any problem even the first time I used it. Bought with 512GB card and insta360 pole ala tripod. Great build and I don't regret the money, but I prefer to really hide the app in the don't use don't open folder and I'm taking 2 stars for someone forcing me to use it.
