The correct grinding procedure
- Hold the handle of the grinder with one hand, place it on a flat table and hold the knife with the other hand.
- Apply the blade to the bayonet with a diamond file. The blade and sharpener should be at an angle of 20-25° together.
- Gently move the knife down in an arc, from the base of the knife to the tip. When sharpening, do not press the knife against the sharpener, guide the blade lightly and smoothly.
- Sharpen alternately and evenly on both sides of the blade. Hold the grinder firmly. Move the knife from one side of the grinder to the other. This sharpens both sides of the blade.
- After sharpening, wipe the sharpener with a dry cloth. Do not wash it in water or use detergents. Store the grinder in a dry and well-ventilated place.
