He's a piece of shit. The workmanship is terrible. But the biggest problem is that it won't pull the tape. When using FF REW, he still turns the cartridge, but you can see that he's getting away with it. But in the case of play, it doesn't give anymore. The problem is not so much the capstan, but the coil winder. Just touch it briefly during playback and it stops (the capstan goes). And since the tape recorder has an autoreverse, it will of course activate. So he tries to turn the tape back and forth and it shuts off. I won't even speculate why that is. I'll go back and try another tape recorder. This isn't the first Nedis product that's been a horrible piece of crap. I think I'll start avoiding this "brand".
