The basis of the camera is a 24 million pixel DX CMOS image sensor promising vibrant images with distinctive colours, low noise levels and fine tonal gradations. The high dynamic range of the HDR allows you to capture close-up, high-contrast images by joining two pictures taken in succession. The built-in dual dust-reduction system with the image sensor cleaning unit and the air flow control system in the mirror box helps to maintain the machine.

The Auto Exposure Mode function selects the most suitable setting for the current scene. There are also several Face Detection modes available.
