The stylish Pioneer SPH-SA120 Apple CarPlay radio serves as a comprehensive multimedia centre for your car. The radio boasts USB device playback support, high-quality 6.2" touchscreen with WVGA resolution and a large amount of supported multimedia formats. The device can play audio tracks in MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC and FLAC files and video in all standard formats. The large display also lets you view JPEG photos. The system also includes a classic AM/FM radio and GPS for navigation.
Wireless connection via Bluetooth
Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth module, you can use wireless connection between your car radio and mobile phone. The system supports both Android phones and Apple devices, so you can easily play the music stored on your phone or iPod in your car. The AppRadio Mode also allows you to pair your smartphone and, for example, browse the web or play videos on the large radio display. The system comes with an external microphone, so you can safely use hands-free communication while driving and Siri or Google Voice voice control.
Music as it should be
The system integrates a 4 x 50 W amplifier and 3 preamp outputs for connecting front/rear speakers and a subwoofer. Thanks to an in-built video output, you can also connect extra displays in the back. There is also a connector for a parking camera. Finally, the MIXTRAX EZ system creates automatic non-stop remixes of music available and dynamically changes graphics and backlighting to match the rhythm of music played by the car radio.
The system’s software offers a 13-band graphic equaliser with an option to store your own presets. The overall look of the main menus, background screen and backlit buttons is customisable, so you can choose a combination to match your car interior. After pairing your smartphone, you can use voice control via Siri or Google Voice. MirrorLink allows you to easily mirror the contents of your phone to the radio display, to let you have everything at your fingertips.
