The oven does not burn, like the Concept RE2020. There they obviously have a wrong heat output for a similar product, because it makes the rice sooner, but it burns on the bottom.
The overall workmanship compared to the Concept RE2020 is on a better level.
It is possible to cook even one portion of rice without burning.
The "slow cooking" function is nonsense for this product. I think of it as a heat source below 100°C. I put a liter of water in the rice cooker and it starts to boil after some time.
I tried the other functions with water too, but for me an uncertain result. Water is always boiling.
Sencor itself was unable to answer the question of what the cooking temperature of the Slow Cook High and Slow Cook Low programs are. The answer was "a time span of 2-6 hours". I guess I was responding to some "expert" on time and temperature who doesn't understand the difference. Or, in the worst case, he took it in the style of "to feed the wolf and keep the goat whole". Well, he didn't.
The measurements inside the cooking vessel are absolutely not in line with reality. Just like the answer of another "expert" from Sencor that the volume of the container is 1.5 litres. I poured exactly 3 litres of water over the 1.5 litre mark. They probably have double liters in Japan.
It would need a more accurate product description or a more accurate freely available manual. Well, what the heck, I primarily wanted a rice cooker and it fulfills that function perfectly. The other features were supposed to be a bonus that they did not fulfill.
