Really comfortable
Hard case
Sound quality
Housing size
The ANC isn't that strong - you can still hear the bus engine and loud conversations.
They can't be folded for storage.

Great headphones, excellent sound
Incredible ambient noise cancellation.
After a year of normal use. "A cracked head bridge – this constitutes mechanical damage to the product – is not covered by the warranty—
the warranty conditions have been breached.
The quoted price for the repair would be 2,555 Kč incl. VAT"

Overall product is great. Besides design/quality defect.
Get's broken in 1.5 year of careful usage. Known issue - https://www.headphonesty.com/2024/01/sony-wh-1000xm5-hinge-issue/
For the price I would expect slightly longer lifetime.

Headphones are great until you crack the "joint" between the earpiece and the bridge. If you look at used sales, almost all of them have this problem, to come across a non-squat one is a rarity. For me, it is a design flaw where the earpiece itself is too heavy to hold on a 1cm joint, all it takes is pressure at the right angle and the earpiece "wiggles" out of the design. If you don't have a warranty, it can be glued (the problem remains), you can get struts, or you're out of luck. If you buy, then you have to be very careful with them.
they play great
allow to connect to 2 devices at the same time
noise cancelling
the design of the connection between the headphone and the bridge is fundamentally bad and a large part of the users will crack

I bought the headphones because for my taste the AirPods MAX which I have had for over a year now have little bass, the XM5 were recommended to me as having very deep and powerful bass but after putting on the sony XM5 I was disappointed and will be returning them. They don't bass either. The sound is rather balanced
Pleasant material
Lightweight, you hardly feel them on your head
Nice and clear sound for the price
case included in the price and included in the package
The sound is balanced, super for some
ANC at number one
Please note in advance that I own AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods MAX 2
I bought the headphones because the AirPods MAX don't bass enough for my taste, but after putting on the sony XM5 I was disappointed and will be returning them. They also don't bass
After connecting to macbook with cable and setting volume to maximum, they do not stop, i.e. they rattle, rattle, etc.

app, where you can set the ANC/AMBIENT button and add OFF
automatic ANC, if it works, it's interesting (when making a call it mutes slightly, in the office without making a call it mutes to max)
if it's on your head for more than an hour or two, it needs a proper adjustment, but it's not for all day on your head either. It's getting a little better with time.
fast steaming even with 2 devices at the same time
a week after unpacking and still smells like Chinese plastic
problems with ANC right after the purchase, the right handset started to whistle unpleasantly, I am claiming so we will see
Touch only one button, other voice control, impractical for the office, on the other hand you don't need much more
