to make all functions work - esp. for updating you need to create an account on the TomTom manufacturer's website, better to pair via HotSpot than just Bluetooth, after a week of operation satisfaction, missing navigation for truck overtaking bans,
when I created a TomTom account for navigation, it first warned me about the unavailability of the service, then by logging in via the web on the PC, the account was created, i.e. I was bothered by the message when creating an account that it is not currently possible to offer the service, but will allow via FB or Google account on the site, and it then gradually activated, but user friendly it is not
