The Xiaomi 17T Pro is a step in the right direction. Xiaomi has brought a cheaper, lighter version of its Pro Max to our market, and apart from a few compromises, it has done so with flair. The price is a bit steep, but it’s bound to come down over time or during sales. The optical scanner works brilliantly, but it’s quite low down. It’s a bit of a shame that it’s USB 2.0, not so much because of the speed as because of potential issues, such as with VR and the like. The camera and battery performance are good; the global HyperOS isn’t quite top-notch yet, but it’s certainly no longer as embarrassing as it used to be. In any case, you still need to disable the adverts manually. A great move by Xiaomi – if you’ve got the 15T Pro, it doesn’t make much sense, but the 14T Pro was significantly weaker in terms of performance and the battery has improved considerably. All in all, a great phone if it’s priced at around 15,000 for the 512GB version

So far, I’m really pleased with it – we’ll see how it goes after using it for a while, but I haven’t found anything negative about it yet. Among other things, I also appreciate the protective case that comes with it. Although I’ve only been using it for a short while, I can say – and I’m confident – that the Xiaomi 17T Pro will be an excellent choice offering outstanding value for money.
