More than adequate light for the price. It's awfully handy, the ability to switch to a close up light is awesome. Fortunately I didn't have to try the strap cutter and window breaker, I don't know how well they work. I'm buying a second piece, it comes in handy too often at home and I'd rather have it in the car due to the features geared towards that. Close-up light, red flashing, yellow flashing, belt cutter, window breaker, it just clearly says it belongs in the car.

The necessity to turn it on by holding it for a long time is non-standard - when you first hold it in your hand, you don't know how to turn it on. But it's worth the security of not turning on by itself.
At max brightness shines significantly, the flashlight does not last very long.
