I bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro after about four years; my previous model was the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The new one has a slightly larger display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a larger battery capacity, it's water-resistant, and the display has better visibility outdoors in the sun. The price/performance/quality was the deciding factor for me. Transferring data and apps from the old phone to the new one was quick and hassle-free.

So far, the phone has met all expectations. The camera takes great photos too. Excellent screen response and facial recognition. No complaints. I can only recommend it.
The fingerprint scanner doesn't work on some screen protectors, the manufacturer recommends the original one from Xiaomi.

Great phone, I've always had a problem with battery life on phones but this one has solved that for me. The price of this phone for what it can do is superb.

The phone was bought as a gift and the recipient is very happy with it so far. They like the large AMOLED display, the speed of the phone, the quality camera, and the large 512GB storage.

The phone met all my requirements. A powerful Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a large battery capacity with fast 67W charging. The chosen 512GB memory capacity is more than sufficient. The phone includes an original case and a factory-fitted screen protector = a complete device with no need to buy any extras. It completely met my expectations and was delivered on the exact sales launch date.

I've only had the phone for a short time, but I have to praise the battery life. This is my fourth Xiaomi phone and I wouldn't change it. Great value for money. Very satisfied.

Really long battery life
Good colour rendering on the display
Decent CPU and RAM performance
Less bloatware than the competition
I expected more from the camera. The photo quality isn't bad, but for that price I'd expect more.
