A food supplement to support eye health in diabetics (balanced diet)
RetiCap DR is a nutritional supplement intended for the special dietary management of patients with diabetes who suffer from retinal disorders known as diabetic retinopathy. This product is classified as a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) and is designed to supplement specific micronutrients important for eye health. It contains a combination of vitamins B1 and B2, rutin and (R)-alpha-lipoic acid, which support the normal functioning of the nervous system, protect cells from oxidative stress and contribute to the maintenance of normal vision.
Main ingredients and their effects
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine) – contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, heart and psyche
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – supports normal vision, reduces fatigue, contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal metabolism of iron
- (R)-alpha-lipoic acid – a coenzyme important for energy production in mitochondria, naturally occurring in the human body
- Rutin – a plant-derived flavonoid that contributes to the protection of cells and blood vessels

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, iron oxides and hydroxides (colours).
Recommended dosage
1 capsule daily, ideally 1–2 hours before a meal. Swallow whole with a little water.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature up to 25°C. Protect from light.
