Upraženo Brazil

This coffee comes from the Minas Gerais region in the southeastern part of Brazil. In this fertile area, almost everyone grows coffee. That's why there are many cooperatives, which provide members with access to healthcare support, scholarships, and further agricultural education. All projects place great emphasis on sustainable farming and taking steps to reduce the negative environmental impact of coffee cultivation. One of the ecological methods used is collecting water from the processing mills, which is then reused in wastewater treatment using special technology. For most locals, the coffee plant is the main source of income, which is why the local farmers tend to it with such care.
What does Brazilian coffee taste like?
The coffee plantations are located at an altitude of over 1100m above sea level, which guarantees the coffee's high quality. The coffee is renowned for its sweet and balanced taste, which experts have rated with a cupping score of 82. The flavour is delicate, combining chocolate and nutty notes with a subtle aroma of dried fruit. The aroma is pleasant, with no trace of bitterness. Its characteristics make it particularly well-suited for preparing espresso, but it will also delight lovers of alternative brewing methods. This coffee is processed using the natural, or dry, method, which is the oldest of all methods. With careful picking and drying, coffee processed this way offers an excellent aroma and a sweet taste. Some compare it to a fruit salad or compote. It is also the most environmentally friendly processing methour After picking, the coffee cherries are spread out in a thin layer to dry in the sun, where they must be turned regularly. Once dried, the beans must be mechanically cleaned to remove the pulp and skin. If the entire process is carried out correctly and responsibly, it gives the coffee a “fuller body” and a very interesting flavour with a hint of fruit.
