The product is intended for vaginal lavage and rinsing of the external genitalia in women over 15 years of age. For children from 6 years of age, the product can only be used for external genital rinses. In children, the preparation is used only after consulting a doctor. Rosalgin is intended for the treatment of inflammatory manifestations in the vagina, cervix and external part of the female genital tract, which are of microbial origin, or of chemical or physical origin, i.e. were created e.g. after chemotherapy or radiotherapy (radiation treatment).
The most common manifestations of these inflammatory diseases usually include itching, burning, redness, swelling (edema) and soreness in the vagina and external genital area, vaginal discharge may also be present (whitish, lumpy, odourless). Rosalgin is also used preventively before and after gynecological surgery. However, in these cases, use the product only if your doctor has specifically recommended it.
The product is also suitable for routine feminine hygiene and hygiene during the six-week period. Even in these cases, the product can only be used on the express recommendation of a doctor.
Dosage and method of use
Use the solution once or twice a day to treat inflammation of the vagina or external genitalia, unless your doctor recommends otherwise. If you do not feel better within 4 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor. The usual duration of treatment for vaginitis or inflammation of the external genitalia is 1 - 2 weeks. Do not use the product for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor. Read the package leaflet in detail.
Contraindications
Do not use Rosalgin if you are allergic to Benzydamine or to any of the other ingredients in this product.
Notice
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Rosalgin. Do not perform vaginal lavage during menstruation. When treating vaginitis or external genital inflammation, it is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse to prevent transmission of the infection to a sexual partner. Prolonged use of the product may lead to hypersensitivity. If hypersensitivity develops, treatment should be discontinued.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. This product does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and bag after "Use by:". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. The prepared solution can be used up to 24 hours after the contents of the bag have dissolved in drinking water. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
