Septabene cola is a medicinal product in the form of lozenges for the local treatment of pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat. Thanks to the combination of benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride, it is anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and helps reduce bacterial growth. The lozenges disinfect the oral cavity and throat and relieve typical symptoms of irritation such as pain, redness, swelling or burning.
The product is suitable for short-term use for inflammation of the throat, gums and mucous membranes of the mouth in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age and has a cola flavour.

💊 Use

Septabene cola is used for short-term local treatment of irritation and inflammation in the mouth and throat area. It is intended to relieve pain, redness, swelling and other unpleasant symptoms associated with inflammation of the throat, oral mucosa and gums, including pharyngitis and gingivitis. The product is suitable for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age and is taken in the form of lozenges that slowly dissolve in the mouth.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substances of Septabene cola are benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg and cetylpyridinium chloride 1 mg in one lozenge. Excipients include isomalt (E 953), citric acid (E 330), sucralose (E 955), cola flavouring (containing benzyl alcohol (E 1519) and butylhydroxyanisole (E 320)) and caramel colour (E 150a).

⚠️️ Warning

Septabene cola should not be used in children under the age of 6 years or in persons with hypersensitivity to benzydamine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride or any of the other ingredients of the product. Caution should be exercised in patients allergic to salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and in persons with bronchial asthma.
It is not recommended to use the product for more than 7 days; if symptoms do not improve, worsen or fever develops within 3 days, you should seek medical attention. It must not be combined with other antiseptics and is not recommended for use immediately before or after brushing.
In pregnancy, the use of the product is not recommended, and when breastfeeding, consultation with a doctor is necessary.

📦 Storage

Keep Septabene cola out of the sight and reach of children, at a temperature of up to 30 °C and in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture. Do not use it after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Do not throw unwanted or expired lozenges in the garbage or sewage, but return them to the pharmacy.
