This medicine contains a topical antiseptic (a substance that reduces the number of germs). It is used as supportive therapy for infections of the throat and oral cavity, including infections caused by Candida albicans (powdery mildew). For the prevention (avoidance) and supportive treatment of gingivitis. To maintain oral hygiene after tooth extraction or removal of the tonsils (tonsillectomy).
Dosage and method of use
Adults take 1 lozenge 3 times a day Children aged 12 years and over and teenagers take 1 lozenge 3 times a day. Children 5-12 years take 1/2-1 lozenge 2 times a day. After taking the lozenge, one should not eat for 1-2 hours and not brush teeth for 1/2 hour due to interference with the effect of the drug.
Contraindications
The product must not be used by patients hypersensitive to chlorhexidine, sorbitol, aspartame or patients with phenylketonuria. Pregnant and lactating women can take the product only if there are serious reasons, long-term use is not recommended. Consult your physician for use. Do not give to children under 5 years of age.
