Shelly RC Snubber

Shelly RC Snubber
The Shelly RC Snubber is an energy absorbing circuit used to suppress voltage spikes caused by circuit inductance when an electrical or mechanical switch is opened. It consists of a resistor (R) and a capacitor (C) connected in series and effectively mitigates voltage spikes by providing a short-term alternative current path around the switching device. Used for all Shelly relays, that restart when inductive loads are switched on, like fans, motors, of the cylinder or that, that cause voltage spikes when they're switched on.
