- Rough Phase (diamond 360#) - is used to quickly compare and restore a damaged or dull blade.
- Medium Phase (diamond 600#) - repairs everyday wear and tear and aligns the blade shape for even sharpening.
- ground phase (ceramic 1000#) - performs final polishing and deburring to achieve a smooth, clean and precise cut.
