Sleep-1 orange anti-blue light glasses

UVtech Sleep-1 computer glasses protect your eyes from harmful screen radiation in the evening. They are designed to be worn for 1 to 3 hours before bed, when they block 99% of blue light and 65% of the green light spectrum. Thanks to their special design, they can be worn over most standard prescription glasses. The orange-tinted lenses provide a high level of filtration with less colour distortion than red-tinted lenses.

Support for your natural sleep rhythm

UVtech Sleep-1 glasses are designed for use before bed, when watching television or working on a computer can disrupt your sleep cycle. By filtering 99% of blue light and 65% of green light, they prevent the suppression of the natural production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Wearing the glasses for 1 to 3 hours before going to bed helps maintain your circadian rhythm and promotes better sleep quality after an evening of using digital devices.

Functional design and durability

The frames have a curved shape that blocks ambient light from entering around the entire field of vision. This stops light from monitors or other sources reaching your eyes from the side, top or bottom. The entire construction is made from polycarbonate and plastic, which protects it from mechanical damage. The glasses meet the CE EN166 and ANSI Z87.1 certification standards.

Compatibility and lens properties

The glasses are designed so they can be worn over prescription glasses. The wide design provides enough space for most standard frames, so you do not have to choose between vision correction and blue light protection. The orange lenses are a compromise between effective filtration and colour distortion. Unlike red lenses, which alter the colour spectrum more significantly, the orange tint maintains a more acceptable perception of the image when watching television.
