Cartridge filter insert
A cartridge, also referred to as a filter insert or element, is a replaceable component of a filter. Its main task is to capture impurities such as dust, sand, chlorine, or other undesirable particles from the flowing medium, which can be water or air. Inside, there is a filtering material, for example, pleated paper, activated carbon, or synthetic fabric, which physically or chemically binds contaminants. As it gradually clogs, its efficiency decreases, making it necessary to clean it or completely replace it with a new one at regular intervals to ensure the proper function of the entire filtration system.
