Snap-back closure
The leverback clasp is a mechanical type of earring fastening, consisting of a movable part, known as a lever. After the earring is threaded through the earlobe, this lever snaps into a groove on the fixed post, thereby securely closing the earring. This mechanism reliably prevents unintentional opening and loss of the jewelry. Due to its reliability and comfortable wear, this type is often referred to as a “classic leverback” or “ladies' leverback”.
