Software features
The device comes with pre-installed software tools, including Zigbee2MQTT, Node-RED, Mosquitto MQTT, Matterbridge, WireGuard VPN and OpenThread tools. This software configuration enables immediate creation of automation scenarios and a secure remote connection to your home network. The dual-core ARM SG2000 processor with 512MB of LPDDR4 RAM ensures applications run smoothly.
Wireless connectivity and signal stability
The hardware uses an EFR32MG24 radio and wireless modules for dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, along with a Bluetooth interface. An external antenna with 5dB gain is used for transmitting and receiving signals on Zigbee and Thread protocols. The external antenna significantly extends the signal range and increases the stability of the mesh network in spaces with obstacles.
Wired connection
An Ethernet port with speeds of up to 100Mbps provides a stable wired connection to the local network and reduces the risk of wireless signal interference. You will appreciate this especially in environments with a large number of wireless devices, where dropouts or fluctuations in connection quality can occur. The device also supports power over Ethernet using a PoE splitter.
Power options and storage expandability
The primary power source is a 5V USB-C connector, and the system also supports SMLIGHT UPS backup power supplies. The internal eMMC storage has a capacity of 8GB and you can expand it with a microSD memory card. The memory card slot accommodates capacities of up to 2TB for storing system logs and user data.
