A wide range of unlocking methods
Users have several independent ways to enter the building. The lock uses facial recognition, palm scanning, fingerprints, a numerical PIN code, and 13.56MHz chip cards. There is also the option of opening with a smart watch or voice assistants. For emergencies, the option to unlock with a traditional mechanical key via the cylinder is also retained.
Palm scanning
The Tuya Smart mobile app serves as the central tool for administering the entire system. In the app, the administrator can create one-time, time-limited, or permanent PIN codes for guests and employees. The system stores a complete history of all entries and logs any alarms. These features make it easier to manage short-term rentals, Airbnb-type accommodation, or company offices.
Integrated video doorbell and intercom
The body of the lock combines multiple security elements, including a built-in video camera. The video doorbell function alerts the owner to an arriving visitor directly on their mobile phone. The two-way intercom then enables voice communication with the person at the door remotely. This gives the user a visual overview of the area in front of the entrance before unlocking.
Physical durability and security alarms
The construction has an IP66 rating, which provides resistance to splashing water and dust ingress when installed outdoors. The security system responds to three unsuccessful unlock attempts by blocking for one minute and sending a notification. The lock will trigger a built-in loud alarm if there is an attempt at mechanical prying or forced entry.
Mechanical locks and passage mode
