Soledum 100 mg is indicated for adults, adolescents and children 6 years of age and older for the treatment of symptoms of acute bronchitis (bronchitis) and the common cold. Soledum 100 mg may also be used to treat symptoms of acute non-purulent sinusitis. For this disease, the medicine is taken only after consulting a doctor. Soledum 100 mg may also be used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older for the adjunctive treatment of breathing difficulties in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) bronchial asthma. Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents (12 years and older) take 2 capsules 3 times a day. Children aged 6 to 12 years take 1 capsule 3 times a day. For long-term and continuous treatment, take 2 capsules 2 times a day. Soledum 100 mg is swallowed whole (without chewing) and washed down with a large amount of not too hot liquid (preferably a 200 ml glass of drinking water), about half an hour before a regular meal. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Soledum 100 mg with regular meals. The duration of treatment with Soledum 100 mg depends on the nature, severity and progression of the disease. If the discomfort persists for more than a week, or if you develop shortness of breath, fever or start coughing up purulent or bloody mucus while taking the medicine, see a doctor. Caution for diabetics: one capsule of Soledum 100 mg is equivalent to 0.0013 bread exchange units.
Contraindications
Not intended for children under 6 years of age. Do not take if you are allergic to cineole or any of the excipients in this medicine and if you suffer from a gagging cough or pseudogag (subglottic laryngitis; acute narrowing of the airways accompanied by severe coughing, difficulty breathing or even. stewing).
