Sony Noise Cancelling WH-1000XM4C
Wireless headphones with ambient noise cancellation
Sony wireless headphones deliver improved sound quality, noise cancellation and an iconic design. Four precision microphones capture ambient sounds and pass them to the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1. The Personal Noise Cancellation Optimiser adapts the noise cancellation to your unique headphone fit, while Adaptive Sound Control learns your daily routine. When you want to be aware of your surroundings again, simply switch to Ambient Sound mode. Quick Attention mode lets you instantly let ambient sounds in. The precisely tuned 40mm driver provides richer and clearer vocals, more prominent bass and a wider soundstage. With Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, it delivers clear detail without cables. DSEE Extreme technology uses Edge-AI to restore detail lost during compression. The Sony headphones are also certified for 360 Reality Audio. You can further customise the sound with the new 10-band equaliser in the Sony | Sound Connect app. They fold easily into an extremely compact hard case. Soft padded earcups and an adjustable headband ensure comfort even during long listening sessions. The battery life is up to 34 hours, or 27 hours with noise cancellation on. The headphones have five built-in microphones with Precise Voice Pickup technology, so you can enjoy clear hands-free calls. You can then customise the individual features to your liking in the Sony | Sound Connect app.

Exceptional noise cancellation
The headphones have four precision microphones that power the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1. Thanks to this, the headphones offer perfect noise cancellation. The Bluetooth Audio SoC processor analyses sound, noise and acoustics more than 700 times per second and adapts in real time to any environment. Whether you're walking through a crowd, riding a train, or escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, the WH-1000XM4C will help you immerse yourself in your own private world of sound. The Personal Noise Cancellation Optimiser fine-tunes noise cancellation to the way you wear them – analysing your head shape and whether you wear glasses – while Adaptive Sound Control learns your daily routine and automatically adjusts noise cancellation and ambient sound depending on where you are. When you need to hear what's going on around you, switch to Ambient Sound mode. Or use Quick Attention mode: just cover the right earcup and the volume will instantly decrease without you having to take your Sony headphones off.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio. In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
