The Berg Advance GTX men's hiking boot is designed for day hikes in variable terrain. The construction uses durable oiled nubuck leather integrated with a GORE-TEX membrane. The Vibram Grip A/M/G outsole together with a composite midsole provides traction and shock absorption, while the dual-zone lacing allows the foot to be fixed according to individual needs.
Berg Advance GTX upper and waterproofing
Oiled nubuck leather provides mechanical durability and natural flexibility. The material is complemented by a functional GORE-TEX membrane, which prevents the penetration of external moisture and at the same time allows the evaporation of water vapour generated during physical activity. This combination keeps feet dry even in poor weather conditions.
Internal padding and fixation system
The ankle area contains memory foam that adapts to the shape of the foot through heat and pressure, eliminating blisters during prolonged walking. The soft upper hem reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon and increases comfort when bending the foot. Dual-zone lacing allows independent tightening of the bottom and top of the shoe to optimize heel and instep fit.
Cushioning and sole traction
The Combo midsole combines a lightweight EVA material to absorb impact with a polyurethane component to increase torsional stability. The Vibram Grip A/M/G outsole has a specific tread pattern for grip on wet, muddy and rocky ground. The life of the shoes is prolonged by a lining on the toe and heel, which protects the upper from mechanical abrasion and stone impacts.
