Men's ALFA Eide Advance GTX M shoes are a versatile solution for hiking and everyday wear in urban environments. The construction combines a lightweight synthetic upper with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and an ergonomically shaped ALFA Nortik sole. The shoes were created in collaboration with designer Mike Friton and focus on the natural movement of the foot.

The textile upper material provides light weight and flexibility, while firmly wrapping the foot for needed stability. The synthetic fabric works with the integrated GORE-TEX Comfort membrane. This technology guarantees waterproofness while maintaining the ability to wick moisture from the interior to the outside. Effective ventilation maintains an optimal microclimate even when worn for extended periods in variable conditions.
ALFA Nortik outsole and shock absorption
The ALFA Nortik outsole has an adaptive tread pattern that increases grip on a variety of surfaces from asphalt to lighter unpaved terrain. The ergonomic shape of the sole supports the arch and ensures balance at every stage of the stride. The EVA foam midsole absorbs mechanical shock when stepping on hard ground, reducing musculoskeletal fatigue.
Ergonomics and fixation system
The design of the shoe uses the knowledge of the biomechanics of walking to achieve a smooth unwinding of the foot. Traditional lacing allows for precise adjustment of the drawstring according to the individual needs of the user and ensures a firm fixation of the foot.
