Women's hiking shoes ALFA Eide Advance GTX W in orange are designed for light hiking and everyday movement in varied terrain. The design combines a lightweight synthetic upper with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and an ergonomically shaped ALFA Nortik sole to provide stability and protection for the foot.
Protection and thermoregulation of ALFA Eide Advance GTX W trekking shoes
The upper consists of a lightweight and stable fabric that fixes the foot while maintaining the flexibility needed for the natural flexion of the foot. Protection from external moisture is provided by an integrated GORE-TEX membrane. This technology prevents water from penetrating inside the shoe while allowing moisture to escape outwards, maintaining an optimal microclimate even during prolonged physical activity. The upper material is resistant to normal mechanical wear and tear associated with walking in the outdoors.
Outsole and cushioning properties
The ALFA Nortik outsole with adaptive tread pattern provides traction on paved roads and lighter terrain. The rubber compound is designed for effective grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The EVA foam midsole absorbs the shock generated during pedalling, reducing the transmission of vibrations to the joints and muscles when walking on hard surfaces. The combination of these elements supports the arch and increases the stability of the step.
Ergonomics and fixation system
Developed in collaboration with designer Mike Friton, the design emphasizes the anatomy of the foot. The shape of the hoof provides sufficient space in the toe area, allowing the toes to spread naturally and contributing to better balance. Traditional lacing allows precise adjustment of the shoe's volume and adaptation of the upper to wider foot types, thus ensuring a firm heel fixation without unwanted pressure on the ankle.
