ALFA Stad W, Grey
ALFA Stad, Grey
ALFA Stad winter hiking boots are designed for cold environments and combine the functional properties of natural materials with durable construction. The base is a woven wool upper with protective nubuck leather elements that increase durability. Stability on slippery ground is ensured by the Vibram outsole with a specific rubber compound, while the EVA cushioning layer ensures comfort when walking.
Boot upper materials ALFA Stad, Grey
The main material is Norwegian wool from the Gudbrandsdalens weaving mill. Thanks to the weaving technology, this material gains increased abrasion resistance and natural water repellency without losing its breathability and insulating properties. Critical zones such as the hem and toe are reinforced with nubuck leather. This solution protects the wool part from mechanical damage, moisture and dirt, thus extending the overall life of the shoe and making it easier to maintain.
Traction and sole cushioning
The sole uses the ALFA rubber compound developed in collaboration with Vibram. The tread geometry and material composition are optimised to ensure grip on snow and icy surfaces. The midsole is made up of EVA foam, which effectively absorbs impact when treading and provides the foot with the necessary support and insulation from the cold from the ground. The classic lacing system allows the foot to be fixed and the construction of the shoe is adapted for easy slipping on.
