The spray contains highly concentrated Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), which is a severe irritant to the eyes, respiratory tract and skin, allowing time to escape or summon help. Pressing the nozzle steadily will empty the contents of the container in approximately 5 seconds, so use short bursts and control the wind when using outdoors.
