TSA Lock
TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, are primarily used to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. It also allows this inspection to be carried out more quickly. This type of lock allows TSA security officers to open and inspect luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key designed to open this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and the case must be relocked. It is especially recommended when travelling to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
