Instructions for setting the combination lock
Suitcases equipped with a combination lock are usually set to 0-0-0. You can change the code as you wish, with no limit on the number of changes. To start setting the code, pull the movable button to the side to release the locking latches. While holding the button, set the new digits of your code one by one, making sure they are all aligned. Once you have set the desired code, release the button, and your suitcase is secured. It is important to remember every code you set, as there is no other way to change it without knowing the previous one. If you forget the code, the only solution is to break the lock.
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It also helps speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and check baggage without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. TSA master keys are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your baggage, these officers are required to place a notification of inspection inside your suitcase and must re-lock it.
