Big Adventure Tambora 4P is a lightweight, double-skinned tent for 4 people, designed for camping, hiking, and multi-day expeditions. Its self-supporting dome structure allows for quick and intuitive pitching on various types of campsites. Two separate entrances provide users with easier access to the interior. Each entrance has its own vestibule, where you can store a backpack, dirty shoes, or wet gear away from the sleeping area.

Protection from rain and wind
The flysheet of the Big Adventure Tambora 4P tent is made from ripstop polyester with a waterproof PU coating that prevents rain from getting in. The groundsheet is made of durable polyester taffeta with its own PU treatment, protecting the interior from ground moisture. The supporting structure of the tent is formed by poles made from 7000-series aluminium alloy, which help maintain the structure's stability in windy conditions.
Ventilation and interior layout of the Tambora 4P tent
The inner tent combines breathable polyester with a fine No-See-Um mesh, which lets air circulate while preventing small insects from entering. The ventilation system expels moist air and reduces condensation build-up during the night. Smaller equipment, such as a torch, map, or personal items, can be stored in the internal pockets.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can withstand before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the tent's resistance. Every tent should have a flysheet with a water column of at least 2000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80-90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3000mm is a safer bet. For the groundsheet, a water column of 5000mm is recommended for general hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a water column of 8000–10000mm.Specifications
