Luminous flux
Measured in lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the headlamp shines. Some LED headlamps offer multiple levels of light intensity, adjustable either in steps or continuously. However, a higher luminous flux shortens the battery life.Up to 100 lm – headlamp for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or when repairing a car).
100–400 lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Above 400 lm – extreme professions and sports (rescuers, mountaineers).
