ORGANIC rice and ORGANIC pea protein

Plant-based proteins tend to have a weaker amino acid profile compared to meat and dairy products, which doesn't make protein supplementation easy for those on a plant-based diet. The amino acid profile is especially important if you live an active lifestyle and exercise regularly. While our bodies can produce some amino acids on their own, we must obtain essential amino acids from our diet. BrainMax Vegan Protein contains a complete spectrum of all amino acids and is almost comparable to classic whey or milk protein, as each scoop contains 24g of protein and 5.29g of BCAAs!

This plant-based protein is designed especially for:

  • Vegans, to supplement high-quality proteins
  • People with increased protein requirements
  • Professional and recreational athletes
  • People who want to get the most out of their food
  • People aiming to build muscle mass
  • People with lactose sensitivity
  • People who have trouble digesting classic proteins
  • People on a weight-loss diet and those who want a break from whey proteins

One of the highest plant-based biological values

Proteins are rated using an indicator known as biological value (BV). On a scale of 0–100, where 100 is the best, most animal protein sources score 90+, while beans and wheat are around 50 points. Pea and rice proteins have some of the highest plant-based biological values, hovering around 70 points. But if we combine them, we get a biological value comparable to whey protein.

Essential amino acids – the foundation for everyday nutrition

Amino acids are a natural component of proteins, which form the basis of many bodily structures. In BrainMax Vegan Protein, you'll find all nine essential amino acids – leucine, isoleucine, valine, lysine, methionine, threonine, histidine, tryptophan and phenylalanine. Thanks to their natural presence, this protein is considered a complete source of plant-based protein that contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to the normal condition of bones.

Rice protein

Rice naturally contains eight essential amino acids, making rice protein a popular part of a plant-based diet. It's produced by fermenting and milling rice grains, creating a concentrate with a high protein content and a natural spectrum of amino acids – such as cysteine, methionine or arginine. Pea protein, on the other hand, excels in its leucine content, which is often mentioned in connection with an active lifestyle. Thanks to their composition, rice and pea protein form a perfectly complementary plant-based combination.

Pea protein

Pea protein contains 30% essential amino acids and has a higher amount of leucine and a smaller proportion of the amino acids methionine and cysteine. These, on the other hand, are found in greater quantities in the aforementioned rice protein. Thanks to the balanced ratio of amino acids, these proteins complement each other perfectly.

Tested by an independent laboratory

BrainMax Vegan protein has undergone independent laboratory testing for the presence of heavy metals and for microbiological safety. Heavy metals can be present in some plant-based raw materials due to environmental pollution, so checking for them is crucial for safety. Microbiological testing included verifying the absence of harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria, moulds and yeasts. What do they check for?

  • Heavy metals
  • Microbiology
  • Safety certificate

No artificial sweeteners, only stevia!

Stevia is a natural sweetener that is up to 300 times sweeter than sugar. It contains no calories and does not raise blood sugar levels. Unlike synthetic artificial sweeteners, it has no negative impact on the gut microbiome. A creamier consistency is provided by coconut milk and fibre-rich guar seeds, which benefit gut health and maintain a feeling of satiety. The protein has an excellent coconut flavour without an unpleasant legume aftertaste.

95% ORGANIC ingredients!

95% of the ingredients used are of ORGANIC quality. This guarantees that all ingredients have been grown in accordance with organic farming principles, without the use of any pesticides, synthetic herbicides or fertilisers. The ingredients list is short: a combination of rice and pea protein, coconut milk for smoothness, guar gum for better texture, stevia for sweetness and a natural flavouring that enhances and elevates the coconut taste. Turn your regular meal into a complete plant-based dish. Just add a scoop!
Unfortunately, due to Czech legislation, Vegan Protein does not have an ORGANIC certification because it is sweetened with stevia, which is not recognised for ORGANIC products in the Czech Republic. We did not want to sweeten it with sugar for this reason.
