Use:
Removal of the covering film:
Your diving mask is equipped with dual-transparent lenses with anti-fog films to prevent fogging during use. These foils are protected by a cover sheet at the factory, which must be removed before first use.
Procedure:
The cover film is located on the inside of the glass. There is a small handle on each glass that you can easily grab the film. Carefully peel off the film from both glasses and make sure there is no residue left on them. The mask is now ready for use.
Silicone strap adjustment: It is important to adjust the strap correctly for a comfortable fit and proper sealing. Procedure: The mask should fit snugly to the face, but should not press. Adjust the strap with the side buckles that allow easy loosening or tightening. Tighten so that the mask holds firmly but does not cause uncomfortable pressure on the face. To check, press the mask against your face and breathe in lightly through your nose - if the mask sticks without the strap, it means it is sealed properly.
Maintenance of the mask:
Proper care of the mask will prolong its life and ensure optimal visibility when diving. After each use, rinse the mask in clean fresh water to remove any dirt, sand or salt residue. Allow the mask to air dry freely, out of direct sunlight. If you need to clean the mask additionally, use a mild soap solution /or water with Jare/ and rinse it with lukewarm water.
Warning:
Do not touch the inside of the glass to avoid damaging the anti-fog coating. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or harsh sponges. Do not store the mask under heavy objects to avoid deforming the silicone seal.
