Soft DS MAX sole for better feel
The Guardian ST are equipped with a DS MAX sole, a softer compound developed for high grip and sensitivity. The sole offers excellent contact with resin surfaces, significantly improving grip on small footholds, rounded volumes, and during moves that require speed and control. The increased flexibility lets the rubber conform better to the wall's irregularities. This design also supports dynamic moves and quick foot changes, which are typical for indoor bouldering. In addition to the rubber used, EB has also reworked the internal construction of the climbing shoe to maintain a balanced ratio between flexibility, support, and stability while climbing.
