Soft DS MAX sole for better feel
The Guardian ST is equipped with a DS MAX sole, a softer compound developed for high grip and sensitivity. The sole offers excellent contact with resin surfaces, significantly improving grip on small footholds, rounded volumes, and during moves that require speed and control. The increased flexibility helps the rubber to better conform to the wall's unevenness. The design also supports the dynamic movements and rapid foot changes typical of indoor bouldering. In addition to the rubber used, EB has also reworked the shoe's internal construction to maintain a balanced ratio of flexibility, support, and stability during climbing.
