How to set the TSA lock on your Enrico Benetti suitcase
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new combination is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow your luggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. It can also speed up the inspection process. Security staff can use this type of lock to open and check your luggage without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that particular lock. TSA lock keys are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting the luggage, these agents are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and must lock it again.
