Fenix HM51R Ruby V3.0 is the 3rd generation of the limited edition based on the HM50R model. It offers a total of 9 modes and, depending on the power selected, lasts for up to 125 hours. The all-metal HM51R Ruby V3.0 headlamp weighs 84g, including the strap and battery, is drop-resistant from 2 metres and waterproof. It can be removed from the head mount and used as a pocket or work torch with a magnetic end cap and steel clip. The Fenix HM51R Ruby V3.0 headlamp is suitable for sports activities, trips into the countryside, work and home use, and all its functions can be controlled with a single button.

The Fenix headlamp offers 9 modes
The main LED produces a neutral white light with a colour temperature of 4500K. The headlamp offers 5 neutral white light modes, which can be selected according to the required power and burn time. The most powerful mode provides 860 lm, while the most economical mode offers a runtime of up to 125 hours. An additional 4 red light modes are suitable for discreet lighting, warning flashes or SOS signalling.
Power and USB-C charging
The Fenix HM51R Ruby V3.0 headlamp is powered by a Fenix ARB-L16-950P Li-Ion battery, type RCR123A, with a capacity of 950 mAh. It charges directly in the torch via the side USB-C connector, and a full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The button glows red during charging and green when complete. The torch can be used while charging, but only the 3 and 50 lm white modes and the red light modes are available. In an emergency, you can insert a disposable CR123A battery, which limits the maximum output to 150 lm and must not be charged in the torch.
Construction of the HM51R Ruby V3.0 headlamp
The body of the Fenix HM51R Ruby V3.0 headlamp is made of A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium alloy and is protected by a hard anodised type III finish, which ensures scratch resistance. An IP68 rating ensures it is dustproof and can be submerged to a depth of up to 2 metres for 4 hours. Digital regulation maintains a constant brightness as the battery discharges, and thermal protection automatically reduces the power when the temperature reaches 60°C. The power is gradually restored after cooling.
